Mohair Yarns & Roving

We produce 3 different style of yarns, perfect for crochet, knitting and weaving.  These yarns can be knitted together to create a beautiful, unique look. All yarns are hand-dyed at the farm. We have over 20 varigated and 35 solid mist colors to choose from, as well as natural white. I would be happy to help you meet your color needs.

Gentle Country Orchard Blend:

Kid Mohair 40%, fine wool 60%.  Approximately 240 yds/4 oz hank.  A luxurious two-ply yarn.  Worsted weight.  Designed for easy knitting.  Can be gently brushed to a light pile.

Country Orchard Style Looped Mohair

Mohair 78%, wool 13%, nylon 9%.  Approximately 240 yards/4 oz hank.  This is a lovely looped Mohair with a wonderful soft hand.  When knitted it has the "effect of fur".  Also interesting when used in combination with other fibers.

Elegant Brushed Orchard Mohair

Mohair 78%, wool 13%, nylon 9%.  Approximately 240 yards/4 oz hank. A luxurious blend of fibers, designed for easy and quick knitting.  Very soft and produces very rich colors when dyed.

Garden Mint
Garden Mint: A refreshing, invigorating blend of peppermint and spearmint. Aids as a mental stimulant and has antiseptic, cooling, analgesic and anti-spasmotic properties. Good for normal to oily skin.
Healing Aloe
Healing Aloe: This bar contains no essential oil fragrance. The extra benefits of aloe, along with cocoa and shea butters, make this bar especially soothing and healing. Excellent for dry, damaged or injured skin such as burns and open wounds. An excellent facial bar.
Lavender
Lavender: Anti-depressant, antiseptic and stringent properties. Blended with finely ground lavender buds. This bar helps soothe the spirit, balance and relax with sedative action. Great for dry skin.
Lemongrass
Lemongrass: Stimulating and refreshing, with a fresh, clean scent. Anti-dpressant that lifts the spirit and clears the mind. Firms and refines dull skin, relieves fatigue and strenghens the nervous system. Good for dry/normal skin.
Oatmeal & Honey
Oatmeal & Honey: Made witha a blend of honey, sweet almond oil and Shea butter. Pureed oats gives this bar mild exfoliation properties. Good for sensitive, dry or irritated skin or those sensitive to fragrances.
Oatmeal Vanilla
Oatmeal Vanilla: A lovely blend of vanilla, with the mild exfoliating properties of pureed oats. Good for normal to dry skin types.
Oranjazz
Oranjazz: A blend of sweet orange and eucalyptus essential oils gives this a bar a sweet, citrus fragrance with a a herbaceous undertone. Calming, refreshing, eases nervous tension with analgesic and antiseptic properties.
Patchouli
Patchouli: Sensual, sweet, earthy, musky, offering a sense of peacefulness and centeredness. Known as a tissue regenerator, anti-depressant, antiseptic. Beneficial for acne, eczema and fungal infections. Great for dry and cracked skin.
Rosemary
Rosemary: Sweet, clean scent with a freshly green-herbal tone. Clears the mind and aids memory. Anti-depressant, astringent, stimulates blood circulation.
Tea Tree

Created as a bug spray, enjoyed as a fragrance. An all natural blend of over 30 pure essential oils. A gentle refreshing scent for every day that also keeps the bigs away. Can be used on animals, except cats. It does contain catnip oil.

MOth Away
A blend of several pure essential oils all known for their moth and bug repelling properties. Simply expel one dropper full into a cotton ball and tossed with yarns, linens or anywhere you want to keep moths away. The fragrance is very pleasing, it does contain Lavender.

We breed pure white Registered Angora Goats.  They produce the softest fleece.  A great addition to any spinners flock or fiber enthusiast.  Our Angora goats are very sweet and gentle.  Kids are born in the spring.
