Wind-Gait Farm, is nestled in the fruit orchards of South Glastonbury, CT. The farm is owned and operated by the Preli family, breeds and raises registered Angora Goats and Nubian Goats. The Angoras produce fine Mohair fibers, admired and desired the world over. Mohair is prized for its luster, softness and strength. It is stronger and warmer than wool and is not subject to shrinking or wrinkling. We produce some of the finest yarns and roving available, perfect for spinning, weaving, knittlng or other projects.
The Nubians produce smooth, creamy milk, with a high butter fat content. It is one of the finest moisturizers with its legendary benefits having been recognized for centuries as a beauty aide. We produce several different scented bars, all with approximately 30% Goat Milk and only the finest, high quality ingredients.
