Pruning & Maple Syrup Demonstration

Belltown Hill Orchards invites you to join us at our next event in celebration of our 100th year anniversary, a live pruning and maple syrup demonstration, being held

Saturday March 27th from 10am to 12pm.

The pruning demonstration will be given by none other than Belltown’s owners, Donald and Michael Preli, who will discuss and demonstrate pruning on various fruit trees and bushes. Our own maple syrup connoisseur Mike Kamis will give you insight on the process of making maple syrup. The morning will begin at the barn with a brief discussion of the how-tos, benefits, and process of pruning. The farmers encourage you to bring any questions you may have for the discussion! From the barn, the farmers will guide you on a tour of the farm via tractor, and will stop at various locations to show you successful pruning techniques.

After the pruning demonstration, the tractors will bring you over to the maple syrup shack, where our very own maple-syrup maker will show you the ins & outs of maple syrup production. And, to top off the day, enjoy complementary cider donuts and coffee back at the farm store.

This event is free of charge and will be open to the first 50 people who sign up. Please note that the event will be held outdoors, so expect a chilly couple of hours! To sign up, please email us at belltownorchards@att.net and include your name, the number of guests in your party, and a phone number to reach you at.
